Coteaux du Layon: Located on the upper slopes of the right bank of the Layon, this appellation is known for its sweet and dessert wines which offer an infinite variety of rich, powerful aromas. These wines are very fine and elegant, offering a good balance between freshness and sweetness.

Coteaux de l’Aubance: This appellation produces fine yet powerful wines which may achieve the “selection de grains nobles” label when the harvest contains at least 234g/l of natural sugar.

Bonnezeaux (blanc) : A top-class sweet white wine, made using Chenin grapes and offering power and opulence. This is one of the most famous wines from the Coteaux du Layon, combining fantastic aromatic complexity with an impeccable structure.

Quart de Chaume: One of the largest appellations in the Loire Valley which can be awarded the label “Grand Cru”. These wines are opulent and smooth, with a wonderfully rounded texture. Both powerful and fresh, these well-balanced wines offer astounding complexity with aromas of white and exotic fruits and honey.
